Since their launch in 2019, we have read inspirational stories from across the whole continent, supporting our belief that truly exceptional work is taking place every day at institutions of all shapes and sizes, wherever they are located and whatever the challenges they face.

By celebrating specific examples of excellence, these awards perfectly complement our broader, data-driven rankings and, in doing so, offer a major international platform to recognise outstanding leadership and institutional performance.

• 20 January 2026 : Announcement of the shortlisted entries
• 22 April 2026 : Announcement of the winners at a glittering ceremony and gala dinner at the THE Asia Universities Summit in Hong Kong
